A guy I used to work with absolutely hated the phrase creme de la creme.  

Jeffrock’s mom hates the word torso. 

Jeffrock hates the overuse of the word synergy.

I really don’t like the phrase blowout. It just has gross connotations. 

What words/phrases do you dislike?

Oh I thought of another:

I don’t mean to be rude but… 

I don’t mean to be a bitch but… 

Just because you preface whatever you are about to say with a pseudo-apology does excuse you.
